Beautiful Up here in Northumberland the coastal paths are bursting with flowers too. Last year I tried to start learning more wild flower names but, compared to bird watching, there's just so many!!! I gave up and decided to take my husband's view and just enjoy them without needing to name every single thing

Nearly called my first Daughter Toadflax, as it was flowering outside the maternity unit when she was born

Lol, Toadflax doesn't quite have the same ring as Rose or Iris or other "flower" names. (And why are there no boy's names after flowers...?)

Weaver fish, he's got venomous spines on his back, can put you in hopital

Got stung on the wrist off the coast of Africa by one, swelled up like a tennis ball and felt like it was on fire
