So pretty, zigs!
Queen Anne's Lace is in full bloom here too and it often grows with cornflowers so a field full of those is beautiful.

Some interesting plants there Zigs. (y)

I think your camera lens may need cleaning, there is a blurred area in the middle of the pictures.

Ta Becky :)

I'll take it into the shop where I bought it, but I bet it'll cost too much to change the lens.

They might be able to buff a scratch down for you zigs. I am very intrigued with the coastal plants at the beach, not living on or to near an ocean or sea I have only had the pleasure of experiencing lake or pond botanicals and although beautiful they somehow lack the splendor of these types of plants. I think it is the pebbles that make the statement so much more bold.

I also wondered, after looking at all that Queen Anne's lace if you have ever run into the giant hogweed? It has managed to find it's way to parts of NY and needless to say people now want to eradicate anything that might be Hogweed.

Didn't think of that :)

The Sea Kale in the first pic on the beach was nearly wiped out when it became popular in Victorian times, needs to be covered in shingle as it grows to blanch the stems.

The queen annes lace is actually a field full of Wild Carrots :)

We do have some Giant Hogweed, been a few cases of bad burns this year.

I got on the local tv's facebook to point out they were showing normal hogweed and saying it was giant hogweed, they ignored me

I've been burnt by hogweed in the past, although the blisters weren't to bad I found getting water on them made them worse. :(

That's useful to know Sheal (y)

Better than getting touched by the Wendigo
