Wondering if someone can tell me if this tree is dead forever or there is any hope of recovery haha

The main stem still looks a bit green, if scrap the bark and if it's green underneath it's alive. Here's a video, i haven't watched it so hope that it helps.

I'd wait until it starts growing again, then trim it down to the new growth.
