How do yall usually deal with tangled plants? I planted alot of chili pequin seeds last fall. An never transplanted til now. To get them all separate and donate a few to family members. I planted the seeds from dried peppers purchased from the grocery store. That's where I got the seeds an they look a lot similar to the peppers I was hoping :).

I think it is too late to separate them. I would start over with fresh seeds in small containers and I would plant that entire bucket full of plants outdoors. That is not a chili pequin, it is a chilepetin. A chili pequin has a small round pepper about 1/2 the size of a chilepetin which is more of a football shape than it is round. They are both equally hot. I had a chili pequin when I lived in Houston and it was as big as a shrub and literally had thousands of peppers each year. My wife loved it as it was impressive when covered in red peppers. It froze back to the ground a couple of times but always came back

I already separated all of them. But, yes its chile pequin I bought the peppers from my local grocery store. I also have the chiltepin, chili pequin is the sister pheno to the chiltepin. The chiltepin grows wild here, I hadn't seen a chili pequin grow wild from birds. I got a lot of chiltepin and chili pequin plants. The one with the small balls are chiltepin. But people mistakenly call them chili pequin a lot. Names are similar this is chili pequin look
