If any of the members on here are going to be in England at the end of May they are most welcome to come and visit our garden.

We open it for charity each year and raise money for a local charity that helps mentally handicapped children. We charge £1 entry fee, have loads of entertainment, sell coffee and cake, plants, crafts etc. and in the day and a half that we open we raise about $7,000.

If you're going to be in England and wish to come then just PM for the details. (y)

I know that @zigs will be coming , as usual, and that @CanadianLori is flying over for it. :)

We open just for a day and a half and had 500 visitors.

I've just picked a few quick shots of the Open Day so not checked them to see whether they're much good.

Nearly forgot to add in a picture of @zigs

It looks fantastic! We'd love to go but I'm quite limited on how far I can travel at the moment (stupid spine), but I hope it all goes well. I've stickied this topic so more people can see it :)

Wow! The pics are great and what a great idea. I've never been out of the US (not even Mexico or Canada), but maybe someday!

The local garden club have asked me couple times to open my garden up. but I worry about strangers around my house etc. never know.

Bootsy has to worry about that, should have seen what some naughty gardener planted in his garden past couple of years :D
