Calla lily question

Good morning. I was given a calla lily plant about eight months ago. The flowers lived nicely, and then died. I kept the bulb in a pot, not knowing what to do with it. Now the bulb is sprouting shoots, and I'm still not sure what to do with it to make it live and bloom again. Do I now add more soil, put it in a bigger pot, feed it something?

Thanks very much for your response, but it is not germane to my inquiry. I have many indoor plants, and have had for decades. Style is not my concern. I just needed advice on one plant. Thanks again.

It's probably too late now friend, sorry about that. Yes put your plant bulb in some fresh soil but don't plant it too deeply. Plant it slightly above the soil to keep it from rotting. Return it to the growing spot it did well in.

Thanks for the reply. No, I didn't wait for an answer, and I did repot the bulb. Unfortunately it looks like I am still failing in my attempt to create a healthy blooming plant.
