Hi all! We switched to nearly all succulents and cacti. Our 5ft San Pedro has for the first time puffs of white cotton-like plumage on top. Is that natural growth or the impact of mealybugs? Thanks for your patience with my cactus ignorance!

Debra Lee Baldwin's blog shows this picture of a columnar cactus that looks rather like yours @CaliforniaDreamer. I believe this was taken in California too.

Well you sure did find one here, they are all Zigs can think about half all the time - drives me up the wall :giggle: If he`s not out there talking to them he's in here making videos of the ruddy things  They aren't too bad I suppose, especially when they flower.

I have some cacti from Walmart. I've had them for several years and water them when I think about it. Hearty little suckers.
