What a good idea. Unrefined sugars are full of nutrients. Molasses by-products are often used in organic fertilizers.

Cane sugar is a rich in Iron. My burnt liquid is combined with carbon. I am not sure of other plants. But rose and hibiscus plants love them. Dilute liquid in small quantities do good. Should make sure that they are immediately absorbed. Otherwise, sweet attracts many things.
