Okay so I’m new to gardening and blueberries period. I went to my local nursery and bought a blueberry plant and noticed some spots. It’s a Pink “Florida Rose” Rabbiteye.
I wasn’t sure how it was supposed to look so I didn’t realize till I got home and started doing some research that it is a fungal infection. I bought some fungicide spray and I’ve cut off many damaged leaves. Almost every leaf has spots. Is this blueberry plant a lost cause? What else can I do?

It should go through the fall shortly. During the winter there are a variety of antifungal sprays possible but mine survive fine just being exposed to sun and weather. Its new and as a slow grower probably shocked by changes. Weak and dying leaving are supposed to be consumed by nature, fungi included, else there would be no compost on the plants roots come spring.

Okay thanks. I haven’t changed pots or put it in the ground so there shouldn’t be much shock. Warm winter here in SC. Just trying to nip this in the bud before the plant dies.

I will take pictures of mine for you, since we are in Birmingham AL the latitudes are similiar. I bet they have similiar leaves with leafspot on them.
