Backyard Makeover

When we bought our house last April, the previous owners did not take care of the backyard at all. We got the house for what I think was a steel and knew I was going to have to redo it.

This past April we had the entire yard redone which included;

8 trees removed
20 cubic yards of top soil
Raised rock garden bed installed
4x6 raised cedar bed installed
7 Indian Hawthorne (not pictured)
5 yellow bell
7 drift rose
5 lime light hydrangeas
10 pallets of zoysia

It's nice to have a backyard that I'm proud of, it was a lot of money but well worth it.

It's so nice when you have an outdoor area that you can use as a functional space and also simply admire how great it looks. And yes, it does cost money but I do think it definitely adds value to a property too!

Thank you all for the nice comments. As you can imagine we are really enjoying our time on our porch this year not having to look at the old yard! It was well worth the money and it will increase my homes value.
