Asparagus, or asparagus fern?

The first photo is edible asparagus. Look online for images, however, this is the best one I found. It clearly shows the decorative stalks as well as the spears that are eaten If you don't cut the edible stalks, they become "fern-like," although they are not ferns nor anything like it.

She second photo is asparagus "fern." It's a decorative plant that many like and some despise. There is really nothing to eat on this plant, so I doubt you'd mistake it for edible. Just sprays of light green, spiky leaves.
