Are there any perennials that like little to no sun?

One area of my garden gets maybe a couple of hours of sun in the morning, but my house blocks the sun for the rest of the day. Are there any perennials that like no sun or very little sun? I'd like to stick something in that area, but everything I put there (in pots) seems to suffer from the lack of light.
