Looking for Late-Summer Drought Tolerant Perennials (Preferably with Red Flowers)

Currently looking for drought tolerant late Summer (Fall) blooming perennials - preferably with red flowers.

This would be for planting Zones 9b - 10a.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Spider lilly? Bulbs are pretty self contained for drought and ours bloom now and in the spring.
