Anyone know this plant?

My boyfriend bought this plant at a local $.99 cent store and we've been trying to find out what it is. Anyone have any idea? Its currently about 31 inches in height from the base of the pot its in..if that helps any...I've included photos

No idea I'm afraid, but that's a bargain for 99c! Hopefully someone here will recognise it :)

Looks familiar but I can't quite place it.
Search "plants that look like marijuana" (I just did) and there are many suggestions.

It's Polyscias. Polyscias has many kinds. I can not say what kind of the the photo. It is possible that some of Polyscias fruticosa. But it's definitely polyscias.

A really interesting plant Ellerian and good detective work Larissa. And what a variation available. I really like the variegated one on the right hand side but maybe the one in the middle:confused::) could be my most favouritist.

I also love polyscias. As a nice bonus, polyscias is an excellent plant for easy bonsai.

I'm sorry that I do not grow it. I just have too many plants with flowers. We have mostly cold climate and I like to see the flowering plants on the windowsill.
