American Beech Tree

I have a young Beech tree that appears to be suffering from Brown Spot. I am in Western North Carolina in zone 7. I am hopefully looking ways to prevent it from dying.

Are you able to take pics of it? It could be beech anthracnose. If you google that you can see some pics to compare to if you can't take pics.
