Every few years someone flies over the area in a small plane and takes shots of the properties. Then a few weeks later they come round and try to sell the pictures to the property owners. The last one we bought was in 2003. Nice for us to see the changes since then. We also have from from just before we moved in nearly 20 years ago too.
Nice to look back at when we have to move out as we get too old to maintain the place.

Beautiful! What crops are planted in the fields around you? Do you farm, or is that some one else?

The yellow fields were Winter Wheat and the greyish one was probably Rape Seed. This year the field opposite is down to potatoes and the one at the back is Broad beans.
The land belongs to the Farm down the lane from us.
The piece of land which is our garden has been that shape approximately for the last 400 years.
