I love asparagus. It is not only delicious but also very nutritious. Asparagus is very good for people who are suffering from weakness or for women who are lactating.
Sadly, I have never grown asparagus in my garden. However, I have always wanted to grow this vegetable.

One half pound cut today. This is a total of 14 pounds from the bed to this date.

The asparagus is finished for the season. The shoots will now be allowed to fern out to produce spears for the 2017 season. A total of 15.5 pounds was obtained from this bed from 10 of May to the 10 of June 2016.
