Which material lets in the most sunlight? Also is there a big difference between PE and Polycarbonate panels as far as sunlight transmission is concerned? Thanks for any answers!

Was just redoing my greenhouse and asked the same question. Polycarbonate paanels offer different light defusion qualities which I'm told is a good thing. I wound up just recovering mine with greenhouse plastic. It is much better that the big box stuff and they will cut it to size for you. Check out https://farmplasticsupply.com/greenhouse-films.
