I'm wondering what other vegetables grow well with tomatoes. I read somewhere that they say not to plan certain vegetables and fruits with each other and I can't remember what they said! Any ideas?

Carrots for sure because they are a companion plant. Herbs including sage and borage, peppers, lettuce, onions and garlic are just a few of what will do well.

Chives, marigolds and basil are a few more plants that are good companions for tomatoe plants.

Onions are great to plant under your tomatoes. It'll help keep the bugs away, as well. I've been doing this for years and it never fails.
