What kind of plant is this?

I bought it last year and it’s taking forever to grow oh ya and when I bought it the roots were wrapped up in some kind of net that couldn’t be too good for it haha

This is Lemon Cypress (Hesperocyparis macrocarpa 'Goldcrest'). It is a lutescent cultivar of the Monterey Cypress.
