I save these when my mother buys her spring plants so I can use them to grow my starter sunflowers. But she keeps throwing them out, thinking she'll be buying more "next spring". But by the time shes doing her gardens, it's way too late to start sunflowers if you want them to grow big!
I have this one but I want one more so I can do up to 20 large sunflowers next year. Now that I know the Irish Spring trick actually works, I really want to go nuts with them
(that initial description sounds weird. I start my sunflowers at her house because its easier to keep them watered and in the sun and more importantly, up away from the rabbits while they're growing. Then once they are big enough, I drive them over to my house and plant them. Thats why shes able to throw them away, I leave the stuff in her shed. But shes in her own world and doesn't listen )
