So i am growing a batch of zinnias, and this fella here stands out from all others. Even though many of my "dahlia-flowering" zinnia variety flowers are quite big, this guy is at least 50% bigger than them, and the shape of his petals is different as well. The petals are far less neatly organized, bigger, and more ruffled.

Does anyone know whether this is a different type of zinnia in my seed pack or that i just got a weird mutant?

I agree, most likely an oops!
Some seeds are bound to get mixed up.

The thing is, i do have cactus zinnias as well, and they look a lot different than this one (the petals on the cactus variety are more long and thin, whereas these are quite wide). Theyre also not nearly as big.

If it was a mix-up, i really wonder what variety got into it.
