Hello I just bought a small swiss cheese plant off a neighbor and when I took it out of the pot found weird clumps on the roots I'm not sure if it normal and to leave it or if it's some kind of parasite and take it off and how

I'm not certain what I'm seeing. Could you take some sharp, close-up macro photos of the roots. Also a shot of the whole plant would be helpful. By 'Swiss-cheese Plant', do you mean a species of Monstera (M. adansonii, M. deliciosa, etc.)?
