Fairy houses! I love them. Did you meet any little fairies there? The lake looks gorgeous, I like how the water reflects the trees, it's very romantic.

What is a Terrorpin?

Agree. Lovely reflections in the water shots. I bet you had fun capturing them. It never seems as wonderful as being there but you certainly captured the moment.I have and enchanted forest on my property so much so imagining faeries and other small beings is easy to imagine. Perhaps I'll have a go at capturing them sometime in a picture. Thanks for the idea zigs.

What is a Terrorpin?

Back in the 1990's we had a kids TV series called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, lots of kids wanted pet Terrapins because of it, not realising they grow up into big finger removing Turtles.

A lot got dumped in ponds & rivers, no natural predators for them in the uk

Oh, I remember Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! I've never watched it though, it's a cartoon for boys, not for girls
So there is a turtle living in the lake? Will it be able to survive winter? Poor thing

These photos are lovely. This forest looks like a wonderful place to hang out. I love the little fairy houses and the teddy bear. Someone around there has a sense of humor.

I'm wondering why fairies want to keep a blue plastic penguine, a little dog, and a plastic bag in their house. Oh well, I guess some fairies are eccentric

Beautiful pictures, BTW. I love the pond views. I always love seeing water in it's "natural" form. I also loved the fairy houses, especially the one with the door that had a lock on it. I guess maybe fairies are starting to move into rough neighborhoods, hence the need to lock their homes.

We see trees here that have hollow spots in them and I've always thought they were for fairies, or maybe Keebler elves. My husband and I always joke about them. It's funny to see that others think the same thing and have taken the time too embellish them!!
