I have lots of this on my property. Are the leaves OK for the tumbler? Should I avoid the ones that have berries on them? Don't want to grow more of it in the vegetable beds!

I would discard the berries if I were you just in case. The leaves will be fine.

I allow Virginia creeper to grow in a small area of my yard to attract birds, they like the berries. Other than that I just chop and drop; they are fine in the compost.
