Trentham Gardens

This is a large public garden near Stoke on Trent. There is a mix of formal, Prairie style and individually designed gardens. Used to be a Stately home and then a hotel. They are in the process of rebuilding the House. Outside there is a Shopping village with lots of tourist type things on sale. Very pretty gardens though.

My history buff husband would absolutely love to visit some of these places - they just seem so rich in charm and I'm sure there's plenty of stories regarding the grounds.
