tree identification

I have this tree in my backyard and I would like to know its name. It has this giant fruit on it that is pineapple like looking but it's not really edible. The ants on the tree are eating it though.

I think it is a Mangrove Palm or Nipa Palm. They were all over Viet Nam and the locals there made some kind beer out of them. I haven't seen one in 50 years and your picture reminded me of them so I looked it up on google.

This is a Screw-pine (Pandanus sp.). They are native to the Paleotropics. This may be Pandanus utilis, which is widely planted, but there are many other similar species.
