Please help with diagnosis. Too much water or a disease? This was transplanted 3 days ago. Brownish areas on leaves have become much more severe. It has been cool and very rainy ever since they were set out. About 55 high and 1 inch of rain last two days.

Had the plant been hardened off before planting? It appears to be windburn/sunburn and 55F is too cold to set out tomatoes as plant growth will be very slow, if any, with temps that low.

It does look as though Chuck could well be right, is it the only one? If you have half a dozen others doing okay it would be a rethink. If not you could try a clear plastic bag (or clingfilm) over that frame, and take it off when the weather seems better, give it a weak feed, coddle it a bit.
