I have the below questions please? Sorry for a lot of questions.

1. Do you know what tree is this?
2. I'm planning to shape it like with a bonsai tree. One characteristic of bonsai tree I see is big and chunky lower trunk of the tree. How do I force it to develop big and fat lower trunk of this tree in a pot? I don't want to put it in the ground for mobility
3. I want to keep it short, maybe 1 foot to 1 1/2 foot like bonsai trees. What's the best way to do that?
4. I want to use a rectangular pot like with bonsai trees instead of circular pot. Is that okay?

It appears to be a Jade plant (if my old eyes are deceiving me). Here is a link I found about making a jade into a bonsai:
