Welcome @Sam85. I can honestly say "No" I have never used liquid seaweed to make lawn grass grow. More growth means more mowing and to me is counter productive.

I have used seaweed extract mixed with water and couldn't tell any difference in growth. I had a gallon of it and used it for a while too. I think its almost in the category of snake oil when it comes to its claims.

The best results I've ever gotten with lawn applications was with composted aged manure. However since it has to be spread with a shovel one scoop at a time its not worth the trouble or the cost to do it commercially. If you have access and a lot of time, age or composted manure will give you the prettiest lawn.

I think the seaweed extract is low in NKP, but contains micronutrients if they are missing it will make a difference, but if they are present already more may well make no difference.
Green and lush is usually down to nitrogen, so manure makes sense.

The green keeper at our golf course, does use it sometimes, on the greens. He has also used washing up liquid on occasions. I've no idea why. But whatever he does with them, they are in perfect condition.

Now we know!

Using washing-up liquid (like Dawn) on your lawn can act as a surfactant, helping water penetrate compacted soil and potentially aiding in moss control, but it's important to use it diluted and test a small area first.
