I’m new to the gardening game and recently moved to house which has roses outside but once they bloom they die is this normal? Am I over watering or under watering? Thank You
When the flowers on roses start to die they need to be removed (dead headed) to encourage more flowers. Give your roses a good watering at the base of the plant when there's been no rain for a while. They should also be fed two to three times a year during their growing season but not beyond the end of July, as they need to start 'shutting down' in preparation for winter dormancy.
Those are so beautiful!!! Dead head the roses, so just cutting off the flower when its drying up. That helps the rose use its energy to produce more flowers.
