Lovely green pictures Zigs, I love the month of May when nature is new and fresh! That does look suspiciously like a Giant Hogweed. Do you have to report it?

It is a nice change from the bare branches of winter

Not sure if I have to report it, only illegal to propagate it as far as I know.

Good pictures. Over here when one is looking at natural wet areas, one is likely to also be swatting mosquitoes off the camera lens...

Those are great pictures Zigs! It looks like you live in such a magical place from all of the pictures you have posted. I just love that all of the vegetation is alive and in full bloom right now. It makes you feel like you are among the living again.

I will absolutely give you a shout before we make it over there. There is nothing better than getting travel help from someone who knows the area. I do know that I would really like to try some authentic cheddar cheese!

You can get cave aged cheddar cheese thats been matured in the limestone caverns
