Hi! I bought a peperomia argyrea 3 days ago and it immediately started to lose leaves, even the ones smaller/new. Also the stems are black and dont look good. As the soil was wet when I got it I never watered it and left it under bright light. At the plant store they told me that the plant was suffering due to changing environment but I think they overwatered it.
Can you help me? How can I save it?
Thank you.

Since you noticed the plant was over watered and haven't added any more water, the plant should recover with the right lighting conditions. Watermelon peperomia thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Indoors, a window on the east side would be an excellent light. Outdoors, put the plant in light shade or filtered light but no direct sun. It should recover nicely. I would just leave any leaves that's still green and remove them when they turn brown.
