Parthenocarpic Cucumber showdown - Beit Alpha vs Diva

I decided to try both Beit Alpha and Diva cucumber varieties this year.

I'll update this post a few times throughout the season.

Same soil, same everything. Seeds were started indoors on the same day.

So far the Diva is winning by a landslide. I've gotten 4 fruits off it so far. None from the Beit Alpha.

Its stronger, and growing a lot faster.

Now, the Beit could still catch up later in the season. We'll have to see.

That would have been my guess too. I think its been around longer and was developed by the Israelis.

But, like I said, its still early. It could just be getting rooted and could come back hard.
