Name of tree

What is the name of this tree? It is very popular: I see it in many places. I was able to grow some from seeds (they are about 2 inches tall so far).

The leaves are shaped somewhat like ferns:

The tree has seed pods that are flat-ish, about 1.5 inches across.
In this picture, the pod is from last year and already open.

Could be jacaranda mimosifolia!

After searching for 'jacaranda mimosifolia', I learned that the more common name is blue jacaranda.

It is Jacaranda - wish I could grow it here. Side note - I have a cat named Jacaranda AKA Jack.

Blue Jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia), also known as Black Poui or Brazilian Fern Tree, is a monsoon-deciduous tree native to northern Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and possibly also southern Brazil. It is the most frost-tolerant species of Jacaranda, but can still be damaged by light frosts.
