Mystery plant.. help!

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and new to gardening...

I have a mystery plant in my garden, and I can't work out what it is and therefore what to expect, or how to care for it! I've attached a photo..

Any help would be welcomed, thank you.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
The mystery plant is a lilly, it's a summer flowering bulb. The bulb looks like a garlic bulb looks like, because garlic is in the same family.
