The State Drpartment of Health will check well water...they will also check your home water if it’s in question. If you can smell chlorine, it’s in question.
Legal limit is 4ppm for annual average.
Ahh. Your fine.

You cant smell free chlorine. Only when it combines with something does it produce a smell.

I live 30 miles south of Nashville TN I tried beds several times but they are so dry in 100°F summer each bed needs 5 to 10 gallons of water every day, that takes me a very long time to water plants and plants never do as well as the same plants growing in the yard soil. I don't want to spoil your fun but you should do a test growing the same plants in 2 different locations, beds and garden soil. See which on is best and less work and less expense for you. You might have much better luck than me. I stopped doing beds long ago but there are 100s of people that have good luck with beds. My cousin tried beds 1 summer and never grew a garden every again. Don't get discouraged and quick figure out what works best for you. Soaker hoses work good.
You could try drip irrigation technology; this way the plants will receive water, and your water consumption won't be so high.

That’s awesome to see a garden from the very start—there’s something really satisfying about building it up step by step like that. It already looks like it has a lot of potential, especially once everything starts filling in and growing. For adding some extra color along the way, I’ve used FTD before to bring in some seasonal flowers, which helped make the space feel more alive while the rest of the garden was still developing.

If you think your watering does not reach the bottom of your raised beds you can insert plastic pipes, with holes drilled in them, to the bottom of the raised beds and pour the water down the pipes. If you have a building site or plumbers merchant near you may find some pipes in a skip or I think you call them dumpsters where their rubbish is put. Or just buy them but that costs money.
