Hi all! Just signed up to this forum. I'm not very new to keeping house plants, I have plenty, but I have never owned potted flowers. I'm afraid of flowers, and am very poor at keeping them alive. My mom surprised me with this yesterday and already a flower has withered up. Can someone help me identify it so I can learn how to properly keep it alive? It's definitely not a petunia. Thanks!!

Hi! This is one species of primrose (Primula) . This plant grows poorly at home. It is more suitable for the streets.

How pretty ! A primula prefers temperatures in the U. S. of 40 to 55%, bring indirect sunlight. Overwatering will drown it, give it 5 days to dry out. Use Google to figure out the rest. Best of luck !
