I agree with the consensus that if it is mites, the soapy spray will resolve the issue. I have not had to spray every day to rid them. I like the idea of spraying with tea as well. I have found mint to be temperamental here but in the midwest it grew like a weed. That makes me think that the watering as well as the pests may have led to your plants problem.
