You can easily make your own foliar feed by boiling a kilo of rice and putting it in an earthen or wooden container. The next step is to place it under a bamboo grove or a bush then covering it with a piece of cloth to keep off insects and then placing it in a sheltered place to protect from rain. Wait for 3 days and transfer the mouldy content into a larger container made of glass. Leave in a dark place to ferment for 7 days. Scoop a spoonful of this culture and mix with 2 litres of water in a container. This is your foliar feed me and can be sprayed on crops as a fertilizer and as a protection against diseases. It can also be sprayed in chicken coops and pig pens to eliminate foul odours.
