Lost the plot

As some of you know, I've been living on and off in a caravan on my sister in laws land and cultivating the veg plot for some years.

She'm putting the house up for sale and I have to move the van and clear out everything from the pill box that has been my workshop for over 10 years.

Got nowhere to put the van, greenhouse or anything else so its sell or scrap.

Any offers on the kayak, greenhouse/cactus collection/bonsai will be considered.

Taking my antique books down the dealers, but I got a lovely condition copy of Gilbert Whites Natural History of Selbourne I'd like to go to a good home.

Got till the end of the season, after that, no garden and living in my car...

Any chance of getting a horticultural/mason job at a National Trust estate, and parking your caravan somewhere on the property?

Oh @zigs I'm so saddened to hear of your situation. I think that @marlingardener's idea is very good, or perhaps you could
place an advert offering some garden/ land maintenance in exchange for a pitch for your van.
I hope something positive turns up for you.

So sad for you @zigs . there has got to be, like @marlingardener says there has got to be some estate looking for a full time gardener with a small cottage on the property or something like that. I knew of a family here years ago that had that situation, their handyman/gardener lived in a small cute cottage on the estate for years doing whatever needed to be done.

You think I am joking but I am not. With your plant knowledge, which exists in the context of the antiquity of a tremendous amount of ancient gardens in the area, I would firmly press you toward employed support ofthose gardens as exist. More interestingly, those which need restoration.

Ah Zigs, you really don't need this and I hope something or someone comes along to help you out. Is it worth trying the local farms? Maybe offering labour in lieu of a place to put your caravan.

All has worked out wonderful. Now living with a certain GF member in Kent

We have 2 lovely dogs and 4 acres to look after

She even lets me play with the tractor
