Looking for suggestions about a product called "tree wrap" at Home Depot

I want to grow a privacy hedge of green Thujas. I live in deer heaven, where they eat everything and no one stops them. I want to try. This tree wrap is 3" wide and 50' long, and very inexpensive. You wrap the tree over all the area you want to protect. It's mainly for temperature, but it says it will work for deer. Has anyone had experience with it?

Maybe, I don't know it. Might be worth trying strips of cloth soaked in diesel, they hate that smell, and you won't have to wrap up the whole hedge, just hang a few bits of cloth in it.

Deer do not eat thuja. They are a cedar and deer find them unpalatable.

Thanks. But we must have different deer - they've eaten almost every tree that people around here have planted. Including Thuja. It's frustrating.
