I got a Juniper bonsai. Right now it’s in the living room but a quick Google search says that it needs 6 hours of sunlight a day. If I put it in an Eastward facing window with frosted glass, will that be sufficient?
Also, when should I move it? It came shipped in a cardboard box with packing peanuts. It had no access to light at all. Should I move it to the window today? Or will the drastic change kill it?
I ask because I had a thyme plant that I got at a grocery store and placed outside after three days, and it died immediately. I would really appreciate any advice, thank you!

Put it in the brightest window you can find right away. Stop worrying you made it and ok and on time.

I moved it to the window and it seems to be doing okay besides for the change in shape. It was cloudy when I took the picture but this window usually gets sun in the morning like 8 to 9 am
