Is this a sucker?

First time growing tomatoes and i am cutting suckers off because I don’t want too many branches but i want to leave 1. My question is do i cut very top off or is that new growth?

Looks suckerish to me if I'm seeing right.

Mine was easy to identify early.

If you are leaving one sucker, i.e. having two stems, then the first above that proto-truss is the one you want.
