Ive gotten some Dahlias from a friend (i believe they are of the Stellar Dahlia type, but i included a pic), and i wanted to gather seeds from the flowers, but i cannot find any. The flowers also dont have a stigma, which makes me believe they are probably infertile. Are all Dahlia flowers of this type infertile?

Many dahlias are either infertile, or if they did set seed would not look like the parent. If you want to propagate you could divide the tuber once winter has killed off the foliage

With flowers like this you may need to carefully remove petals to get at the stamen and stigma. Then use a paint brush to transfer pollen from stamen to stigma.
