Identification please

I've just started getting into indoor plants so I am still learning about all the different varieties and their names. I recently bought this plant at a market but I don't know what it is called. Can anyone help me out with an identification. I would be very grateful

If its a house plant, not sure but it looks like a variety of Taro.
