Hello

This was in my garden when I moved in the back end of last year but it was twigs back then.
No signs of any flowers.
Leaves are soft not shiny.
Anyone have any ideas? It doesn't look much at present.
Thanks.

Welcome Wren.
Please can you try to add another pic.
Your first is very small and sideways...will not enlarge for me to see the detail of the leaves.

At present I would guess a Salix sp...a willow....but that is just a guess!

Thanks for that. A coincidence as I planted a weeping salix just in front of it earlier this year. May dig it up and plant a climber it's too big for where it is.

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

I concur, this does look like a Willow (Salix). Its probably long gone by now, but an interesting idea would have been to espalier it along the fence.

Indeed, but that is of no concern. Plant identifications and gardening suggestions are timeless.
