I need help with my new lapins cherry sapling

Hi, i recently planted my bare root lapins cherry tree and it has bee doing great untill a few days ago..inoticed something was eating the leaves, i sawsome spidermites and sprayed the tree with garden safe insect killer andnowive noticed the leavesturning yellow here are some pictures.. this is my first ever fruit tree so any advice on what todo and how to.save it would be greatly appreciated.
