How do I make my room into a greenhouse?

How can I make my room a greenhouse? My room gets a fair amount of sun but I want more. I have a plastic clear sheet I can put over my window and a humidifier. Will this do?

The biggest advantage of a greenhouse is having natural sun coming in from all sides (including the roof), but protecting from large temperature swings. Your room will probably be fine for starting plants, but adding plastic and humidity is not always what is needed, and will not increase the amount of available light. It may also do damage to your house, so be careful!

Take off the roof, ceiling, indoor and out door walls. Remove all insulation. Attach clear vinyl sheeting inside and out plus the roof. Simple isn't it?
