Hibiscus

The seller who sold this to my mom a while back said that this is a hibiscus. It sure looks like one. I'm just wondering why it seems fuller than our yellow hibiscus. Still, I just want to share this beautiful flower.

It's a different variety of hibiscus like Rose of Sharon is a different variety. I like the ruffled petals on the flower. There are several other colors that also have the ruffled petals. Here is an interesting link: http://www.hibiscusrosasinensis.com/.

I have one that's similar to yours but my petals aren't so huge and fluffy...great flower you have there...i would love to use one of your flower to adorn my hair

The branch look different from the ones we normally see here in Hawaii. Here the branches are straight and shoot straight up.

It's a really beautiful hibiscus! I like all full flowers, because they always remind me of my favorite roses. Also, this shade of red is absolutely lovely
